The History of The Paper Mix

Since 1996, we’ve grown from a small local printing workshop into a global brand, with our products now found in retailers around the world.

A Legacy of Ink and Paper

The Paper Mix has its roots in a small printing workshop in Vietnam, where my mother started a side business alongside her career as a teacher more than 30 years ago.

I still remember the scent of ink filling our home, the rhythmic sound of screen printing, and the careful way my mom cut tiny pieces of paper for prepress business card printing.

Back then, every step—designing, printing, cutting—was done by hand, a meticulous process that required patience and craftsmanship.

Growing Up with Paper

I grew up surrounded by it all. After school, I ran small errands—bringing designs to the neighbor, picking up final proofs, and riding my bicycle through busy streets to deliver business cards.

Some days, I stopped by the market to buy big sheets of paper, balancing them on my bike as I rode home. Our little workshop wasn’t just a business; it was a part of our family’s daily life.

From Workshop to Brand

Over the years, the workshop grew, and new technology changed the way we worked. We went from handmade printing to modern machines, from small jobs to big clients.

When I took over, I expanded even more, but deep down, I had a dream—to create something of my own, something that carried the heart of craftsmanship into stationery.

That’s how Paper Mix was born. Our greeting cards, notebooks, and notepads made their way into stores across Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, and the U.S.

The Paper Mix: A New Chapter

Now, in the U.S., The Paper Mix continues this journey. We believe paper is more than just something to write on—it’s a way to connect, to share, to remember.

Our products are made with care by artisans from Vietnam, USA, and beyond, keeping the warmth of human touch alive in a fast-changing world. Because in the end, it’s not just about paper—it’s about the stories it holds.
